Anybody try Coconut Juice after a HARD RUN

So, I've been training for this marathon in about a month. Usually I drink a bunch of gatorade after my runs. But recently a friend of mine introduced me to Coconut Juice. He had bought it from a chinese grocer. So I tried it recently after a 15 mile run. The stuff was so great, I did some more research on it. I wanted to share it with my fellow runners.

Coconut juice is an isotonic beverage. That means that its salt concentration matches that of the human body, thus enabling fluid and mineral replacement after physical activity. Being so chemically analagous to human plasma, coconut water has even been used by some third world countries to save lives through coconut IVs. This fluid can act as both a blood purifier and catalyst in the drug absorbtion process, which explains why Chief of the Food and Agriculture Organization's Agricultural Industries Morton Satin calls coconut water, "the fluid of life."

Here is the product I tried out. http://www.sunhingfoods.com/bybrand.php?parcocojuic10-1floz[/URL" target="_blank">

Has anyone else tried something like this before? I love the taste, with the small chunks of pulp. I prefer it when it is served cold.

The only thing I have against the evil coconut is that it is LOADED with saturated fat. One cup of coconut meat has 119% of your daily sat. fat!! If what you're drinking is coconut water (the fluid found when the coconut is cracked) then that's really low in calories and fat. But, if you're drinking coconut milk (the fluid expressed from coconut meat) then you're in a world of hurt becuase one cup of that fluid has 552 calories and 254% of your daily sat fat!!!

So what your point is... is that it's AA approved?

This thread reminds me of an ad.
