I'm still here!! My crazy work schedule is less crazy for awhile. Last week went ok - I maintained my weight 137. Eating was alright - not great, but better than I usually do on my 15 hour work days. So this week I'm supposed to bring it on with the excercise...except I have horrible cramps today
I wanted to get my body moving so I walked to run all my errands. Walked maybe 5 miles or so. I might still hit the gym and try to run 2 to 3, but my couch is looking mighty comfy right now.

This week - run or yoga everyday, swimming lesson on Saturday. If I don't run tonight I will yoga and run tomorrow.

Tracy - I'm assuming he's fine. He sent email to my daughter and me on Sunday afternoon, nothing since, but that's to be expected. When he's away, though, I pay much less attention to the news. I just can't deal with it, so I pull an ostrich!

Bellydancing tonight, and it's my intermediate class where we're learning a dance for an Oct performance, so no more undulations! Well, a couple, but my tummy can handle that. I'm going to try and ride my bike while watching Dancing with the Stars tonight, I feel so bad that I couldn't do anything last night.

A day late but I'm still in.. 149 last Tues.. 147 this a.m. Did some soul searching and truely decided that I am worth all the time and effort eating healthy takes.. Eat healthy and have a wonderful week..

I was 169 last week (granted, water weight) and 161 this week.

I did lose an inch of my waist though. That always happens the first week of a diet, no matter how much I eat, just drinking more water. I dunno why.

so i started south beach on monday and 1.5 days later i am down 2 pounds already! I weighed in the afternoon so it may be more than 2! i know its water weight but im dancing anyway!!

umm did an easy 4 miles today and ate awesome

Tracy - When is your 1/2 marathon? Mine is getting closer....10/22.
I'm currently having issues with my hip....started last week and has just gotten worse. So, I ran 12 on Sunday, 3.5 on Tuesday and am now I'm taking a few days off to see if my hip gets better. Yuck! Not running is certainly not helping me lose weight. I need to get the gym and at least try to do some circuit stuff and mabe see how riding the bike feels on my hip.

clcbear, where is your HM. I noticed the date is the same as when i'm running a marathon. Are you running the nike one?

As for me...I haven't weighed myself all week, but I'm giving myself some room. I returned from South Africa this past weekend, and am giving my body some time to readjust to the food and exercise that I'm accustomed too (too many work dinners, bottles of wine and red meat, every night, while I was gone). I feel pretty good and can tell I've already dropped a lb or two...Plus, these next 3 weeks are crucial for me, so I've been eating to work-outs strong. My only caveat is that the sun keeps getting later and later to run...I can only come into work so late. However, going to do a long run this weekend.

Great to hear of so much success this week already!

Good morning, ladies (the men seem to have gone bye-bye)

I've been feeling very blah the past few days, not much energy AT ALL. I went for my private dance lesson last night, but I didn't go early for the group lesson. Not really sure where my get up and go has gone, but I'd like it back, please! Tonight's my basic bellydance class, and so help me, it's nothing but a light vegetable soup beforehand!
