I started the other thread, but I'm more than happy to move it over here!

Male
48
5'10"
215lbs (All time high)
204lbs (as of this morning)
170lbs (My final goal weight, obviously not by Thanksgiving!)
190lbs (by Thanksgiving)

I think weekly check-ins on Mondays would be a good idea.
Might make ME watch things a bit closer on the week-end if I know I have to be accountable on Monday!

I'll play along...
Male
41
5' 7"
190lbs (all time high)
183 (Current???, I will check in the morning)
165 (final goal)

Just ran half-marathon yesterday and felt awful. I am planning on my 3rd marathon in late November and decided that I would only do if if I lose my gut.

Need to cut out sugars, be consistent with weight training, and continue to train for marathon in order to be successful.

I'll join in too.

Female
40
5' 3"
Starting-127
Current-121.5
Goal-120 by Oct 1st, 115 by Thanksgiving
Goal is also to drop more BF, down 4%, another 3.5% to go.

I was doing great and dropped the first 6 quickly, now I've slowed a little. I think 1/2-3/4 lb a week is more realistic for me at this point. I've lost all my cravings so that's a plus. Also I've found some healthy foods I've never tried before because I was afraid to and now find that I like them.

1 lb a week is enough. I'm looking forward to doing more running this Fall. I love the change of seasons and...I'm pulling out all my Fall clothes and they will fit this year .

OK, I'm in...with my own personal twist...

Age: 32
Sex: Male
Starting weight: 193
Goal weight: 180
Weight loss to date: 0
Pounds to go: 13

My twist...my goal is actually to lose twice the weight of my sone-to-be. My wife is due right around Thanksgiving (11/21), so I am going to try and lose double what he will weigh when he's born. Yeah, it's silly, but it gives me motivation to lose a little more and a little faster since it's kind of a moving target.

Matt

P.S. - By the way...I suck at losing weight...never been good at it. I'm good at working out, just not dieting and losing weight.

Sex: Female
Age: 23
Height: 5'8"
Starting weight: 159lb
Current weight: 151.4lb
By Thanksgiving: 140lb
By Christmas: 137lb

My plan: fruit smoothie for breakfast, and no pancakes! No after dinner snacking, no juice, only special occasion sweets-no random candy (particulary in the afternoon) and no diet soda.

Ok so I am in. I am doing an At work challenge anyway. I started that one Sept 1st so put in my start weight and pounds lost from then.

Female
41 yrs old
5'10"
Starting Weight---167.5
Current weight---162.5
Goal Weight 150
Pounds lost--5

So I just come back on Monday and let everyone know how many pounds I have lost? Sounds like fun. I am really motivated to get to my goal. I would love to train for my second marathon but want to be at my lightest when I get started. Had a battle with Plantar Faciatias(?) when traing for one last winter and had to drop to a half. I was about 20 pounds heavier then. Since I droped the wieght I havent had any problems. We will see.

Ok I've been battling with a bad achilles for the last 3-4 yrs, Lately it's been doing pretty good just a little stiff once in a while!
Last nite I went out for an easy run and after about a 1/4 mile...BAM! Felt like someone sliced right through the dang tendon! Ended up walking (limping) for about 3miles real easy, but as of this morning I'm basically hobbling around.
I'm still in the challenge I just won't be running!

Age: 38
Sex: Female
Starting Weight: 170
Goal Weight: 140
Weight Loss to-date: 0
Pounds to goal: 30

I really don't have a plan in place yet. I'm going to come up with some kind of work out plan since I eat pretty healthy & low calorie already.

I'm in as well..... I have been fluctuating and will have a few good days of watching what I eat and then fall off the wagon!

Age: 25
Sex: Female
Starting Weight: 133
Goal Weight: 123
Pounds to Goal: 10

I know 10 lbs isn't much but it has been pretty impossible! I am horrible at losing weight so hopefully this will help keep me on track. I know I need to cut the sugar intake - which wil hopefully help training too.
