Last week: 151.4
This morning: 151

Not much, but at least it is less! Weekend eating is quite inconsistent... I need to work on that.

Well, so far everyone is doing better than I am. After a pot-luck at work and the in-laws here for the weekend, I GAINED 2 stinking pounds. Granted, the only workout I had recently was mowing the lawn. May this means I'm destined to lose more this week. Here's the tale of the tape:

SW: 193
CW: 195
GW: 180.

15 lbs. to go.

last week-121.5
Sunday-119.8.

Well unfortunatly I am going in the wrong direstion this week.
Start 167.5
Last week 162.5
this week 164.5
Goal 150

I gained 2 this week. I was living like a rock star this weekend. Eating and drinking whatever I wanted. I guess I am happy to only see 2 pounds considering.

OMG!! apparently I'm still recovering from Oktoberfest this wknd!!!! (it was fun tho!) counting my calories says that I shouldn't have gained anything BUT! The scale went up a whole 5 lbs initially - Alcohol just seems to do that to me....& it still says I'm up a lb from last week.......& I'm fighting w/myself on my runs (harder than they should be) soooooo, couple more days of "recovery" & it'll probably miraculously say I've lost 2! not really!!!! I just plain GOTTA stay away from the alcohol while trying to lose some weight & build my runs.......! Other than that - things are going well!

Morning all...

Well I hopped on the scale this morning and I weighed in at 158.8!!! I have been in the 160s since early June. I feel rejuvenated. 3 months to lose 10 lbs., that's .06 per week.

My goals for the week are to get back into full swing in low sugar way of life and pick out a 5k for this fall. The weather is still great so I'm hitting the road today and see how far my "getting littler yet stronger" legs can take me.

So...SW:160.2
CW:158.8
GW:149
Final Goal: 130-135

Everyone have a great week!

Good morning. Despite a wedding this weekend, which always means overindulgence at the rehearsal dinner and wedding, at least for me; I managed to lose one pound. So, at least I lost half of my gain from the first week...but I'm still up one for the challenge.

Well, there is good news and bad news. The good news, I lost 2lbs last week. The bad news, I tore a muscle in my calf-so-no running for me for a couple months. Very upsetting. I had 4 weeks to go before my marathon. I am very depressed, but I am going to try to use it as a lesson learned versus the biggest bummer ever (which it is); that I don't need to do everything in excess. When I eat, I eat too much. When I stretch, I stretch too much. And when I run, I run too much (especially when it has been so hot and suddenly you have a beautiful day and run 18 miles as a tempo run-not my brightest moment). Stats are:

SW (this time) 144
CW 142
GW 134

I'm up 3 lbs since Sat but I don't think it is real weight gain. I did a century ride on Sat which took 7.5 hrs and I had Chinese that night so I'm not too concerned. I've had to take a few days off from exercise, only doing yoga, but I plan to try and run tomorrow. Maybe it will just be a walk.

If you go to Chipotle, have their vegetarian burito bowl. Tell them to take it easy on the cheese and sour cream, you don't really even need to go without those.

Also, if you like the Swedish Fish, you should try their meatballs.
