Training Logs from CR?

Hi, Boomer gods and goddesses. Any clue how to access training logs from CR? I suspect that mine is still "in transition," but since it took fairly-tech-saavy me way too long to even find this forum, I'd appreciate any cyber breadcrumbs you might drop to help me navigate to the training logs once they're transferred.

Thanks!

Eliz

Re: Training Logs from CR?
It is not terribly easy to find. By not terribly easy, what I mean is that there doesn't appear to be any links to it. Anywhere.

I got there somehow. Not entirely sure what the trail of breadcrumbs was.

Go to: http://www.activetrainer.com

Username and password will be the same. Unfortunately, it seems like you have to login twice since it is now a separate site. Only about half of my mileage seemed to get migrated over.

Now if I can only figure out how to add a link to my mileage log from some sort of signature. Can't find one yet.

OK, This REALLY sucks.

I transferred my CR log and it is totally messed up. It put the entries in wrong dates. Total unfixable mess. I'm outta here!!

Geesh. Typical active.com quality

I'm not ready to give up quite yet. In some ways, a message board is just that.

It's the people and the information that gets posted that will keep me coming back.

They do need to improve the mileage log though. Double login with no link between message boards and the mileage log seems to defeat the purpose.

This is not looking good. I think I've found my running log or at least started the transfer over of the data. I may be going to KR after all.

Re: Training Logs from CR?
DaveinAA posted this at Kick:

For those of you who are looking for your old CoolRunning log, you can still access it here:

http://www.coolrunning.com/cgi-bin/log/display.cgi?u=myusername;s=coolrun

(Substitute for your username and password as appropriate -- your old CR ones, not the new Active ones.)

I was even able to enter the past few days' workouts there.

Then go to Tools and download your running log. It saves a file called "dowload.cgi", which is a confusing file extension since it's not actually an executable cgi script but a tab-delimited text file. You can open this file with Excel and follow the prompts to import it. Then save it as an Excel workbook. It's bare bones but at least all the info is there.

Re: Training Logs from CR?

I've circled around the site about 6 times during the day trying get the Training Log to work . . logged in repeatedly, created accounts, merged accounts, answered inane questions (please enter your birthdate and then assert you are over 14 years old).

It is way too hard. Finally, I created a spreadsheet in less time than I spent trying to get into the online tool.

Re: Training Logs from CR?

Oh man!!! All I want is to copy my running log into an Excel spreadsheet. Where the heck is it??

If nothing else, I want to see how many miles I have for the year, how difficult should that be???

This sux! X-(
