Favorite running movie???

Don't know how many of you either heard of or saw the movie the Jericho Mile (1978) but definitely one of my favorite movies to inspire me to get going when I'm in a slump. The Rolling Stones Sympathy For The Devil song is awesome and it always reminds me of the movie, always on my Ipod. Just curious what everyone's favorite is, I know that there are so many....

The Loneliest Runner starring Lance Kerwin. Not only the best running movie, but also the best running/bed wetting movie ever made.

"Without Limits" is the best running flick I've ever seen. "Prefontaine" and "Chariots of Fire" are some of my other favorites.

This was autobiographical by Michael Landon. That man had no shame. He cried at minute 48 of every Little House episode. Bravo!

djsteveboy - I think I can relate to Last of the Mohicans. Whenever I'm trail running I somehow get that song stuck in my head from the last fight scene along the cliffs. Makes me want to run in mocassins and carry a musket.

Charriots of fire for me. But then I do not know a lot of running movies. Grest post I think I will check out a few of the ones mentioned here.

Personal Best.

Starring Mariel Hemingway, Patrice Donnelly (US pentathlete), Kenny Moore and Frank Shorter.

Ah! Those steam room scenes

Also Marathon Man. That drill bit promotes some serious leg turnover.
