Re: lipo 6 fat burners
well its very simple. you buy it online or at gnc. There ae directions on the bottle just follow those. Dont drink any caffine while using lipo 6. Keep very hydrated. When you start to take the pill it wont keep you from being hungry. But when you go to eat a meal you will be full half way through it SO... eat 5-7 small meals a day like fruits, veggies, yogurt, your normal healthy stuff, then at dinner time eat some meat or whatever. And be sure to exersise or taking the pill basically does nothing. One thing i have noticed is it helps me when lifting weights. I have more energy so i dont have to finish my workout early. And my muscles are more tone than when not taking lipo 6 and still working out. So basically stick to the basic way of losing weight only take lipo 6 as an addition. I love this diet pill. They help you see results faster so your more determind and know that what your doing is improving your body greatly. That way you keep pushing yourself and keep seeing a lot more results.

Re: lipo 6 fat burners
I started taking Lipo 6 seven days ago. I also have actually gained a couple of pounds. I don't know if I should quit taking it or not. Did anyone that gained weight end up losing?

I'm getting very frustrated with my weight. I'm 5'5" and am now 148 pounds. This is the heaviest I've been in the last 16 years. Until 2 years ago, I had maintained a weight of 130-135 for 14 years. I no longer know what to do. I've tried to watch what I eat and I had been walking on the treadmill (4.2 mph for 45 min)3-5 times per week. This past month I've slipped a little on the exercise - but have continued to watch what I eat. The eating and exercise hasn't been making any difference. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My weight is very frustrating to me. My husband tells me not to worry about it - I look fine (he's overweight, eats what he wants and doesn't exercise and never varies from his current weight). I had an eating disorder years ago when I was in college and quit eating for 6 weeks. I definately don't want to get depressed enough and fall back into that - it wasn't healthy - so I need to find a way to lose 10-15 lbs.

Re: lipo 6 fat burners
You need to change up your routine a little bit. Put the treadmill on a 2-5% incline, or ride a bike, swim or lift weights. You have basically hit a wall and will not lose any weight unless you "ramp" up your exercise routine. Get the hubby to walk with you thru the neighborhood, or find a friend to walk with.

NUTREX LIPO 6 Dietary Supplement Containing Synephrine Causes Syncopal Episode
posted by Joe Johnson on 24 June 2005 at 1:38 pm
At all times relevant, Nutrex Research, Inc., located in Winter Park, Florida, designed, manufactured and marketed a fat burner product called ?Lipo 6?, hereinafter called ?the fat burner?.
I was at all times relevant and prior to the occurrence a healthy individual with no prior medical or health conditions.
On or about December 13, 2004, I purchased the fat burner product.
The fat burner was designed, manufactured and sold by the Nutrex, and among the ingredients contained in the fat burner were 20mg of Synephrine HCL, 20mg of Guggulsterone, 3mg of Yohimbine HCL, 200mg of Caffeine Anhydrous and 5mg of Bioperine per capsule.

Synephrine HCL is structurally related to ephedrine and pseudo-ephedrine, and guggulsterone is a ketosteroid specifically called Z-Guggulsterone and its effect on the thyroid is that it increases the metabolic rate through stimulation of the thyroid gland, which can result in higher levels of T4 (Thyroxine), one of the two main thyroid hormones.

Yohimbine is a chemical that causes vasodilation, thereby lowering blood pressure and stimulation of the central nervous system. It is an alkaloid in yohimbe, which is a tree bark containing a variety of pharmacologically active chemicals and is marketed in a number of products for bodybuilding. At high doses, yohimbine is a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor and can cause serious adverse effects when taken concomitantly with tyramine-containing foods or with over-the-counter (OTC) products containing phenylpropanolamine. Serious adverse effects, including renal failure, seizures and death, have been reported to the FDA with products containing yohimbe and are currently under investigation.

Yohimbine has the same similar effect as ephedrine also known as ephedra.

On or about April 12, 2004, the FDA banned products containing ephedrine because it presented an unreasonable risk of illness or injury and has been linked to numerous and significant adverse health effects, including heart attacks and strokes. Nutrex knew of the FDA ban on products containing ephedrine.

The directions included on the fat burner product label directed that for fat loss 2 liquid-capsules should be taken twice daily and for extreme fat loss 2 liquid-capsules should be taken 3 times daily. The directions further indicated that taking 2 liquid-capsules 30 minutes prior to working out increased energy.

The fat burner was placed into the stream of commerce and sold by Nutrex in a defective and unreasonably dangerous condition in that the design of the fat burner was such that it failed to include a warning necessary for the safe and proper use of the fat burner.

The fat burner reached me without any substantial change in its condition and was in that same condition at the time of the injury.

On or about December 24, 2004, after taking two of the fat burner liquid-capsules twice daily and jogging, thus using the fat burner in foreseeable manner and in accordance with the directions contained in the fat burner product label, I collapsed and became temporarily unconscious and non-responsive. My central nervous system shut down and I experienced a syncopal episode.

I was admitted into the George Washington University Hospital Center and was diagnosed with having suffered from heart ?palpitations? and a damaged thyroid gland from the use of the fat-burner.

The heart ?palpitations? and damaged thyroid gland occurred because of a defect in the fat burner, in that the fat burner in order to be non-defective and reasonably safe for use, should have contained or been accompanied by a warning that the product contained ingredients that could cause serious adverse effects and that taking two of the fat burner liquid-capsules twice daily could cause low blood pressure, low and elevated heart rate as well as heart palpitations and other serious medical conditions.

The fat burner in order to further be non-defective and reasonably safe for use, should have also contained or been accompanied by a warning that because the product contained yohimbine, serious adverse effects could occur when taken concomitantly with tyramine-containing foods or with over-the-counter products containing phenylpropanolamine.

If the fat burner had contained or been accompanied by such warnings, I would not have used the fat burner and would not have been injured.

On February 1, 2005, I spoke with Jeff McCarrell, the President of Nutrex Research, Inc. Mr. McCarrell advised me for the first time that taking two of the fat burner capsules twice daily for beginners, like myself, would cause heart ?palpitations?. This warning or statement was not contained on the fat burner product label nor were there any warnings that the product contained ingredients similar to ephedrine.

Nutrex knew or should have known that taking two of the fat burner liquid-capsules twice daily would cause serious adverse effects such as heart ?palpitations? and that the product contained ingredients similar to ephedrine making the product an unreasonable risk to illness or injury but intentionally omitted these facts from the product label so as to induce and promote the sell of the product.

As a result of the defect described above, and Nutrex?s conduct, I suffered extreme pain and agony which continues to the present and which is expected to continue for the rest of my life. I sustained a damaged thyroid gland and has incurred medical expenses and substantial future medial expenses are expected. I suffered lost wages ? all as a result of the defect described above.

If anyone has experienced any adverse effects whatsoever from the use of LIPO 6 please let me know.

Re: lipo 6 fat burners
hi I just signed up today. I am from Manila and finally I came across a forum about lipo6. I purchased Lipo 6 two days ago. I am on my second day of taking now. Take note that I read thru a page where it said all the bad stuff about it. On the other hand, I also read the good side.

I weigh about 130 lbs. at 5'2. Our scale tells me that I am 58 kilos. (BTW, our weighing scale is accurate if weight in kilos is multiplied by 2.26 instead of 2.2)

I am on my second day and down to 56 kilos BUT...I believe it's only water weight that I have lost and I know that it will come back once I eat more.

I will keep you posted. And by the way, I started working out (cardio/statio bike) for 15-20 minutes a day. I know it's not much but at least it's a start.

I have taken so many diet pills in the past so I know which pill has or no effect on me at all. So far I FEEL that lipo 6 has been effective for me. I will increase my workout to 30-40 minutes. My goal is to lose 10-12 pounds and stay at my ideal weight. After that, goodbye lipo 6.

And to address the post re: calling us MORONS, mind your own business. If you are concerned, start off by NOT calling names. What you pasted won't interest readers at all since you started by YELLING.

Re: lipo 6 fat burners
Okay, so you want to take a pill to help you lose weight. Then, when you lose the weight, you will stop taking the pill.

Consider the logic in that: if it was the pill making you lose the weight, then stopping the pill will make it come back. If it wasn't the pill, then why the **** were you taking it in the first place?

Please understand, I used to get frustrated and call names like the person above did, but that was simply because I have seen what performance enhancing drugs can do (I have done a few autopsies). I have also seen people who don't have the money, spend inordinate amounts on pills, powders, plans, videos, instead of using logic to lose weight.

It sounds to me as if you are using this in conjunction with an exercise plan. Most likely, it will be the exercise, not the pills that will help you lose the weight.

There are no shortcuts, ma'am. No magic pills. If you simply eat healthy and exercise more, you will get the results you want. Weight loss pills are, at best, useless, and at worst, dangerous.

Re: lipo 6 fat burners
How is everyone? Im a new user to Lipo 6 and I have to just tell everyone who is thinking about losing weight, this product really does work. Two weeks ago when i first started using it i was 243 pounds. And now im down to 233 pounds and i feel great. And I know some of you reading this is like " this guy is blowing smoke up our A**, but im a real person just like you guys, looking for a way to lose weight and not have to deal with all the side effects like some other products. And trust me this is the one. If I could give one word of advice its that when you use this product dont think it's going to do the work for you on it's own, you need to start a good diet that works and stick with it all.

Re: lipo 6 fat burners
Hi i purchased Lipo6 almost 2wks ago now and changed my diet and started exercising and oddly enough it feels as if i have lost weight already, don't have a scale so i am not sure. In reply to melis71 calling everyone morons, well maybe you did not have a good experience with this product and you would like to warn others but that is really not the right way going about doing it. As far as calling this product down and saying it causes health problems, think about it, don't alot of things nowadays cause health problems, ie. smoking, tanning, drinking and the list goes on and on. Lipo6 has a warning label on this product all people need to do is read what you should be doing and not doing. A person should start out with only 1 pill per day for the first week to allow their body to get use to the herbs in this product and gradually increase dosage so you won't shock your body. On my label it says to take a maximum of 3 capsules in 24hrs so listen to it, they would not write that there for something to do. Obviously by increasing your dosage to more than that you are putting yourself at risk of problems. It states don't drink caffeine, alcohol and to avoid foods like liver, cheese, red wine because they contain tyramine which obviously does'nt agree with this product. Well to sum up i would like to say follow the directions on the label and you should'nt have any problems, as with anything nowadays everything has bad things about it but does that stop people from doing things, as for melis71you probably smoke and drink and don't follow directions, so your one of those people who say don't do that it is bad for you when you probably do a list of harmful things to your body. Anyways i personally like Lipo6 and would recommend to anyone who needs to lose weight applied with exercise and diet it is unbeatable, i've tried alot of diet pills and this one seems to be the best.
Thanks Nutrex

melis71 You are a idiot, you fat looser you sound like some of those sick people that want to use this product as a way of loosing weight with out getting off of your fat *** and not working out. Any supplements that you take should be taken in moderation and should only be taken for a short period of time. There is no quick fix for loosing weight it?s all about discipline and hard work.
