I think I saw a more confusing website once

But I can't remember when. Crazy. I've been to my training log 3 times now, yet I still can't figure out where the he!l it is. I just wander around until I stumble across it, logging in 4 times as I go.

This thing is BS. I wander around like a little lost puppy. Suddenly I'll find what I'm looking for. Then, never to find it again...

This website stinks, I hate having to log back in every freaking time. Maybe I'll get more actual work done during the day.

My guys are 15, 13, 11, and 9. Yah, it's crazy. And y'all wonder why I s/b/r?! Seriously, though, they are great. I was just working on our Christmas letter. I asked the kids for their accomplishments for the year. 15yo--beating me in both races we ran. 9yo--finishing a 1miler 7th OA, beating his older brothers! Yah, they got the bug...

I don't like it. I did find my log and transferred all my data. I'm glad to have gotten that done. But, I don't like the format at all. The old logs were just so easy to use.

I lost most of my data - most of it's paddling and there is no option to choose paddling as a sport, or add in your own sport, so all that data is gone. I did save it all to excel before the change over, but I liked my CR log :(

I'm not sure but I think I had to re-create my account and profile. I was a CoolRunner before and now I guess I'm a rookie again. Sucks!

Attention Mr. Roden. My name is Stephen Momwabe, and I am a barrister in Abuja Nigeria. It has come to my attention that you are the last living relative of Mr. Charles Anthony Roden who had the misfortune to run into an elephant ....

Did you get any more e-mail, Jroden???

Confusing... I agree.

The confusing part for me, I think, is the way the forums are set up. After looking at it for a while, I think I got the hang of how it is set up, but like many of you, there are times when I have a hard time finding my way back to a section of the site or to yet a new part that I want to frequent that existed in the old CR boards (like the Ultra community).

Seems Active has a collection of forums similar but very different to what CR had. And now with the integration, it seems Active took the CR boards and carved out a section within their existing board infrastructure for CR. So we (CR) are only a branch -- or a part -- of Active. I'm guessing Active would eventually want the migrated CR boards (that are only a branch of Active boards) to merge into the Active ones so that they can collapse the CR branch, and what we know of our little mecca known as CR Multisport, for good. The premise is that our new Multisport community would be larger, maybe broader. Good or bad, I'll leave that for you to decide.

That's the way I see it. I think :)

That makes sense, thor, as the triatlon forum in active seems to be so slow that people don't bother visiting it. This may end up being more aggravation that it is worth.

Reg.

Go ahead and try it, I have a mailbox rule that will make short work of anything with Multisport Training in the subject line, straight into the composter it goes! Freaking stupid site.
