5K PR :-)

Just had to share ... Last time I ran a 5K was back in July. While my time was 20:36, I was disappointed to discover that the course was probably short -- it was probably 3 miles, which translates to 21:21 for a 5K. Since then, I've been training for my first marathon and haven't raced at all. This past weekend, I did another 5K -- this time it was a certified course, and I finished in 20:23! :-)

Thats awesome!!!I think any time around 20 minutes is really fast for us mortals. I've only been under 20 minutes once (19:45) and that was harder than my marathon training...which will be my first in a month or so.

Great job!!!

Tim

Hey, I just got a new PR of 20:23 too. Must have been something in the air over the weekend! Congrats and good luck with the training.
