6 days per week?
What do you all think of training 6 days per week? 2 'hard days' involving heavy interval training with maximal effort repeats and recovery periods limited to 80 to 85% mhr for a total duration of about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Then 2 'recovery' days of 60 to 80 minute runs at 60 to 69% mhr, followed by 2 'regular' days consisting of 60 minute runs at 70 to 79% mhr.
This is for a seasoned and well conditioned runner. Do you all think it is physiologically too demanding for even the most elite athlete to handle?
