Run the Boston Marathon for a great cause!

Whether you?re a seasoned marathon competitor, or looking to make the jump from casual to serious runner, Good Sports can provide you the opportunity to run one of the most famous marathons in the world! Not only will you have a sense of accomplishment from finishing the 26.2 miles, you?ll also feel great knowing you helped out an amazing cause! Good Sports has a limited amount of numbers available for the 2008 Boston Marathon®, and we?re looking for motivated and hard-working runners to represent our organization. It?s no secret these numbers can be tough to come by, and all Good Sports asks in exchange for this opportunity is your efforts in fundraising to help support our cause in making sure disadvantaged youth receive the equipment they need to participate in sports. If you?re interested in running, please fill out a Good Sports Heartbreakers Marathon Team Application by Friday, October 26th. You can find a copy of the application on www.goodsports.org.[/URL" target="_blank"> Additionally, if you have any questions about what will be required of you, feel free to contact Davin at dlencz@goodsports.org. Thank you for helping us get everyone in the game!

To bad Boston allows people to run in their prestigious race when all others have to (should) qualify. Apples and oranges.

Get upset, it's my opnion and your right to get upset.

More power to the BAA and the charities who take part in the hallowed Boston Marathon. It doesn't take anything from the achievements of those who make the cut on their own.

I ran as a charity runner this year. It doesn't prevent me from wanting to make a BQ sometime. It was so much fun that I look forward to making the grade in the future.
