I have sprained my ankle while running this morning

It hurts, its swollen and I can't stand on my foot

But I don't think it's very serious.

At least the timing is not that bad...

Sorry about your strain Runningag.

I have'nt run for 5 days now. So far so good. I'm enjoying the break.

Df, I would like to go see you run on Saturday, tell me if you decide to go.

Grommit your run in the wood sounded heavenly. You are lucky to be able to run in all those new places all the time.

Yamachiche... Right now I dont feel like it because I'm still tired but I'm hoping in a few weeks I will be back in shape.

My imaginary friend has dissapeared without a word. I'm honestly sad about this.

Hey Knee - just met up with my bud to work out Saturday and Bruno... should be doing both. Whats this about coming to see me...how about running it with me and my bud ? You run Mount Royal all the time ..its great up there at this time of year (yeah, I saw the forecast - hot, humid etc) ...think about it...you know where to find me chérie..

Gag - putting the feet up with a nice cold drink sounds good right about now...take it easy. Are you planning on any races this summer...you haven't mentioned ?

Later, if I survive this evening's hill run...

Pretty hot out there ... just ran a 10k in that miserable heat and humidity ... It's 29C out there!! I was a good girl though and carried water.

Df7 - sorry to hear that you won't be able to join me and DB this Sunday.

Omni - I'd like to run Sunday morning at 11am or even earlier, but don't think I'd be able to keep your wonderful pace, and looks like I will have to be the Shepherdess to DB, unless others speak up ... ANYONE OUT THERE RUNNING SUNDAY?! YOOHOO!!

Coureur & Veronique - where are you?

KJ - C'mon, I know in your heart you want to run Yamachiche with us ... It'll be fun!

Sally

Good evening folks, part II. I survived this evenings? run and had a darn good time doing it ..hot, muggy, lots of traffic but I was in good company, thanks Mars and Ralf.

We saw a fashion photo shoot at the lookout (? Everybody must have been BBQing..we kept getting these wonderful odors?ran through a sprinkler, should have gone back, didn?t get wet enough ?nice run.

Don?t know where I got the energy tonight, hope I didn?t make the two of you too mental..but hey look at the bright side, the ole gal ain?t around next week, she be hangin? with a bunch of gals for a change. - Goin' to miss me - not - alright, alright.

Ralf ? thanks for the pictures ? already up on the refrigerator door, held there by a collection of magnets. I picked them at random and only as I stood back did I realize how I had picked them. The group picture of mom, munchkin, me and my bud is held by a stone that says Health, the one of mom and munchkin walking together, Peace, the one of munchkin alone ? a magnet from Disney with Tinkerbell on it that says ?Its all about me? and lastly the one of me alone with that wonderful grimace on my sweaty face is held up with a stone that says Faith. Don?t you love the way our subconscious works?hum.. ? On a lighter note, I?d like to see a pic of the family homestead you mentioned some time.

Ah guys..by the way, if you need a general wake up call on Saturday morning for your trip to Whiteface? let me know?I start waking up at 4 anyways?

ITS FRIDAY TOMORROW - HURRAH?.

I know you iced it ... but did you tape it? Or put a tensor bandage on it? I hope you did, since it sounds pretty bad ... Go see a doctor if you can't stand on it ... Voltaren (anti-inflammatory) is my friend. I have been where you are at ...

Keep us informed. We care ...

Sally

I thought they may have been running on the mountain, which is where I was. I saw some familiar faces there.

Good morning Acidosis - Sunday morning run is on Mount Royal and the Thursday evening run is from Villa Maria Metro station, from there Mars has something different planned almost every week, and we somehow make our way up to Summit Circle. Last week was an exception, Camilen Houde area instead ? right Mars ?

I don?t live in town therefore not familiar, with all the street names etc?DR seems to know what area I was talking about, there is always something interesting going on at this spot. You get a great view, but last night it was obvious why there was a smog alert on ? yuck !

Mars, Ralf ? can either one of you let me know the distance we covered and approx time?didn?t note anything last night.

Mars ? thanks for the ride home, I was hungry all day and was happy to get in the door sooner to eat again? : ) I also very much enjoy the conversation/observations with/from someone who has trained for so many years?

Guys ? see if you can post something about your trip this weekend before Sunday mid day..I?d love to hear about it before I leave, and want to know you are all okay?alright enough with being an ole hen..shower and bagel time ?

Bonne journée Df
