Hey TB! Great seeing you at the gym this morning... and yes folks... he was walking upright and not crawling on all fours as one would imagine after looking at Mars' "edited" photo of TB.

Great post on the run. You should definitely think of giving up your present career and start writing some detective fiction. Your style would certainly lends itself to it very well!

Oh... and yes... before I forget TB.... I was mysteriously missing my towel after I finished with the weights.... you clepto!

Congrats again.

Hi everyone!

My computer at home is out of order until the end of the week and I've just started a new job (same workplace) so I'm awfully busy at work and did not have time to check the posts for the past 3 days!!!

A HUGE congrats to the Whitefacers. You guys are still alive after this intense experience!!!

Df: Sorry I could not go on saturday and I could not write a post to notice you about it, my computer was out.

Ralf: thanks for the pictures, maybe I can get them next time we meet at Hurley's.

A wonderful week to all.

Mars, I haven't gone to bed yet.

Sorry, I won't be able to make the hill-running or the Sunday running as I will be with my kiddies. Maybe you could convince DB for Sunday? I know he'd like to run with you before you leave, Mars ... Hey, when are you leaving? Any news?

Will you and the talented and beautiful Mrs. Mars be joining us at Hurley's?

So far, I have me and Ralf in for Hurley's on Monday ... well, that doesn't make for a merry crowd! Makes for great company though , right Ralf? We can talk about that evil Darth Mars and what we REALLY want to say behind his back as he passes us on those hills ...

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

Sorry, I guess that was a bit loud. I've come to a horrible conclusion..... it turns out that I am actually a morning person... who would have know.

My morning weather report is that the temp is a bit better after that early morning Thunderstorm but still very sticky. Just got back in and well... I'm thrilled... just completed a PB and I feel GREAT! Guess that explains my opening line.

You can count me in Mars if you are still interested, you may have to carry my sorry *** back down the hill... but you look like a big stong boy!

Love the photo of Chops Mrs.Mars... Great Job!

OK... question for the group... anyone have an opinion on the advatages/disadvantages of creatine monohydrate. I've seen a lot of stuff out there but would prefer to get some input from people who's opinion I value.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning,

TB and Mars, thanks for your reports and the pictures. Great shots among them.

Mrs. MM, thanks for the chuckle. Your artist impressions of the Whiteface race are great.

KJ, sure you can get the pictures on Monday. How's the new job?

Sally, two or a crowd, doesn't matter. We'll have fun.

I just registered for the 10k at Mont-Saint-Bruno. I know that technically it is by far too short after my last race, but the place is so nice. And it will be my last race before the end of July. (Sorry Sally, I would like to go to Yamachiche, but I will in vacation).

Yesterday, while reading Usenet, I accidentally found a link to the Drachenlauf[/URL" target="_blank"> (Dragon Run) taking place in October. The course is 26km long, goes over several summits and you have to climb nearly 1000m in total. The name is derived from one of the summits which is the famous Drachenfels (Dragon Rock), an ancient volcano, where according to the legend Siegfried slayed the dragon (Sorry Dragons, sometimes life is harsh). Being still highly motivated by the Whiteface experience, I am crazy enough to consider registering.

See you on Thursday, have a nice day

Ralf

Slaying dragons???? But whyyyyy?

St-Bruno sounds interesting but since it's Father's day, I think I'd best stay home... (or eat out wherever we are going for lunch hmmmm)

Ditto ... I almost fell off my chair laughing so hard when I saw both those pics!

Thanks so much,
