Central Jersey runners?

Anyone out there running in Central Jersey?? Specifically Hunterdon Co? I"d love to start or join a running club haven't been able to find anything in the area.

Might just have to train my lab to come with me if I can't find anyone ....

Hey! I live in Lambertville - Just moved there in fact. I looked around for a running club and the closest I could find is Bucks County Road Runners. There is also a group that runs in Princeton, but its kinda far for me. I would be interested in trying to start a group, for sure!

Where are you located?

I live in Flemington-I've heard (although never tried) that running on the toepath is great. Would love to try to start a group for Hunterdon Co. What are your goals right now...any interest in a marathon??

I would love to start training for a marathon. I actually had started training last year but I pulled my IT band and had to stop. I live a couple of blocks from the towpath and so go running there pretty often. It is a nice place to run, but I like to change it up every few days because it can get old (flat and straight).

Right now I am concentrating on strength training and so I go to the gym a few nights a week, but I would love to get a group together for long runs.

Are you training for a marathon? WHich one?

I'm thinking right now that I'd like to run a marathon next fall. Not in the thick of training but still, I'm increasing my miles. I'm going to see how I feel in January and then I may pick one to run in April, if my miles are up. Otherwise, I'm thinking Chicago or NYC (I know it's a lottery) for next fall.

Where did you move from? Are you new to the area? You can pm me if you would rather not post all is this info!

have a good one-will probably get out to run this afternoon.
