Grommit: Roly gave me four (4) possible days for our outing in the snow (December 27 to 30) which are OK for me. How about you, sir ?

Roly: How about Stephane ?

Anyone else: How about YOU ?

Dear Dr.

I need your help..... I ate at a chinese restaurant for lunch yesterday and the "Fortune Cookie" stated that.... "it is better to have a hen today than an egg tomorrow".... what does this mean ? It's been bugging me ever since... am I really that dense to miss some basic logic.... ?

the experiment is perplexed....

Stephane and Family are off to a remote cabin in the woods during this time. Maybe early to mid January would be best.

Sunday, I may have to go to work on Sunday and do my long run Saturday. Since I decided to stay home after 5 minutes being outside this morning . I'll let you know.

Really bad out there the roads are all blocked, add a hour or more if you have to travel on the highways.

WTF are you talking about ? Who's bailing out ? Give me names: I'll drag them from the bottom of their panties. I WANT NAMES.

Walked to the office this morning. Wonderful. Chops wont wait January to get mountains.

Hey, who's bailing?!!

I went a long way to get a nifty medal and had to run with my sprained ankle amongst a slow hoard of people ... I want to show it off!! I better see a lot of Coolrunning faces tomorrow at JB's!!!

30 cm of snow??? Bum-mer... NOT!!!

I'm still enjoying running in shorts out here (long-sleeve shirt + light gloves, though), even if it is getting chilly at times when the sun is down.

In terms of skiing, while I'm not much of a skier, when I feel an uncontrollable urge to do so (once a year), I'm 45 minutes from a pretty good ski mountain (12,000 ft) right outside LV, and I'm 3 hours away from the famed ski hills of Utah.

BTW, I tried the running track at the new Health Club that opened right near my home. Wow... Just beautiful. I'd never been much of a fan of indoor running tracks in the past (MTL downtown YMCA... 13 laps to the mile??? someone just shoot me...). But this one is spectacular. Stunning views of the city through windows surrounding the outside of the track, great views of... hmmm... other club members working out over 2 floors... and best of all, 5.5 laps to the mile. In fact, it is almost exactly 300 m around. Great interval training on the run, which was part 2 of my bike-run brick.

While you guys are fighting the snow on Sunday morning on Mt-Royal, I'll be off for a trail run with a friend. Since we'll be meeting around 11 AM, it'll be shorts & t-shirt...

Take care all.

Mars

Grommit: I'll be there. Depending on the turnout, is 8:30am acceptable?
