where'd everybody go? anybody running out there?

I didn't meet a soul runners that is on my run yesterday... not one.

I was out at about 5 just as the light snow was starting, beautiful conditions as soon as I got off the streets and into the woods on the mountain love my new headlight. I was jonesing for a hard workout so I pushed a fair amount.... totally out of control on the downhills, singing, grinning and generally being reckless..... if anybody deserves an ankle issue... it's me

Total: +/- 11miles 1:31...... this route usually takes me about 1:30 in daylight on dry land

xmas am ????

It's good, it sounds so much like Frou Frou. Thanks. I'm listening to the whole album right now.

So when is our hill run? What about Mont-Royal on Sunday?

I'm not going to run on the 25th Christmas day, at 7:00 am!!! You guys are far out of this world. My Lord!!!

Yeeepeee! I'm off for a whole week. Sally (or anyone) give me a ring if you want to go for a stroll anytime (but not at 7:00 am on an off day!).

Great weather out there I didn't feel to hot or cold running.

26.7 k (2:58:52) nice and slow in the fresh wet slushy snow. Be prepare for wet feet if you go out today.

KJ - the 27 or 28 next week for the hill run if we run the hood I need someone to lead since I have never run there.

I see Grommit is exposing his petzl to the ultrarunners.

A very Merry and safe Christmas to all MTL Cool Runners, present and past.

As the holidays bring back memories of family and friends, the MTL Cool Runners hold a special place in my remembrance of 2005.

Take care all.

Hey Sally ? thanks for the offer. Sorry to hear your cold and ankle are still giving you a hard time. Speaking of naps, just got up after a ½ hour hiding under my quilt?got to get munchkin ready for church, she?ll be singing with the children choir tonight.

Christmas is killing me, this week, I ran twice, went to the pool once, and yoga once. Did a he$$ of a lot of walking and wrapping ?does that count as cross training ? Yep, Roly I paced myself.

To meet up with Grommit for 7 at the monument is difficult. I do have a couple of hours early tomorrow morning but public transportation?le centre ville locked down?yada yada..I think I would be best to be banging on your front door tomorrow morning, and from there finding our bud. Cup of tea, and a spot to change into dry cloths would be a bonus

TB ? feel like joining us on a Christmas morning run ? Anyone else ?

Later Df

Roly ... lousy deal, no medal ... just make sure that you take a finishing photo and post it here. Don't forget to tell us the date you decide ... we want to cheer you on! Will there be simultaneous netcasting of your split times? or how about taking a water break at the computer and writing a line or two about how you feel (bored ... LOL!!!)

No seriously, all the power to you ... and I still think Grommit should commit to doing this, and on the same day, make it more interesting for us spectators. Your gym is around the corner from me Grommit, I promise I will drop by and cheer you on!

Have a very merry Christmas, folks!

Sally

Sally and all, Really I am not trying to show off or anything I just really love to run. This treadmill marathon is another challenge that I feel I need to do (see if I can). It's the challenge that I Like, I need to see how far I can go. I may never run Boston but I think one day I could do the Canadian Death Race or run a 100 mile race. I find that running has introduced me to the most interesting people I have ever met in my life and want to continue this relationship with all the cool runners. I'm up for any challange so please I would love to help or be a part of your training or races ( family permitting).

Good luck to all in your comittments for 2006.

Roly.

all the best for 2006
