I heard that when I called the City of Broomfield. Like I said, I don't know when it will happen. I was also able to pick up a map of the city w/trails (it was printed from a pdf file (available on their website) that they printed out on a 3' x 4' sheet. You can kind of tell where the tunnel will probably be (near the BP station on 120th, I have a hunch).

I really like the neighborhood. Since we moved last Sept., we have noticed that we have very friendly neighbors. Plus a good friend of ours lives a block away. We have kids that will go to Mt. View, which is only a couple blocks. When we were looking for houses, we were targeting Superior and Broomfield. I like both towns very much, but I know we got a much better deal in the house we bought here in Broomfield. We finally sold our house in Lafayette around Thanksgiving. We felt we would have paid maybe 100k more for a similar (but no basement) house in Seattle. However, their economy is booming, so there are definitely tradeoffs.

Since moving, I haven't really done a lot of running (actually since last May), so any race is out of the question until maybe next fall. I recently have started to put in more consistent miles in the last two weeks.

Re: Boulder, Colorado runners?!
I run about 22 miles a week. Mostly treadmill miles with my little ones because I have to go to a gym (Better Bodies) where they do childcare. I don't really mind. We may be moving to Erie soon. We are looking at real estate in the Weld County side of Erie. Boulder County is very expensive and they kill you in taxes. So i've heard. It's been kinda windy lately so not really into running outdoors. I might do a 4 mile run in Broomfield tomorrow.
