Hi everyone - thanks for the run on Saturday, it was good to meet you and to kill my bad Lake Chabot run memory from marathon training... and it is always an added bonus when one learns of a new good place for grub!

To entice you further, the shirt is a tech (Dri Release) fabric, not your garden variety cotton ..... ooooo ...... aaahhhhhh

Yes. I had this race in my sites. I'm running Big Sur the week after so I will run this as a little tune up.

I ran a 5K the day after we ran at Lake Chabor and it surprisingly took a lot out of me so I won't run too hard at Brickyard.

How did the 5K go? Which race was it? Did you run the time that you wanted to?

Maybe we could carpool to the Brickyard?

I would run it with you all, but am doing the Santa Cruz half marthon that day... I will be running with you in spirit.

Yak, Yak, Yak. Carpool no problem. Crash the night before if you want to.

It was the Dublin St Pat's Day 5K. It was my first 5K ever (after who knows how many longer races). I ran a 21:45, about a minute faster than I thought based on my 10K time in a race result predictor. This proves that I am a gutless, whimpy runner at longer distances.

Well....Steph would make 4! She probably hasn't seen yet that you guys are all going to run...I'd like to run it. But if we register as a team - do we all have to run the same distance? Not sure if I'd run the 4 or 8 mile. And, I'm not sure yet that I can commit. But I'll keep an eye on what's going on & I will make a commitment (I think

Hi all, sorry I haven't been around. Is anyone still thinking about the Brickyard? A team would be great, but I hope some of you can make it!
