Now this is better!!!! I'm in middle Georgia today and it's a high of 18C...IT'S SUMMER!!! but nobody is making a big deal of it. I'm hoping to run tonight and just enjoy the temperature...Not really looking forward to coming back to the freezer...

OK...we were like, second from the bottom! Yes, I am enjoying my time in the south...but travelling sucks and I miss running with the group and feel like I'm missing out on things at home. A week or two is fine, but this is three weeks now and I have a very short weekend coming then I'm back down here. I have been running lots in really great weather though. Last night I should have run in a singlet but I didn't bring one. Next week I will though. I'm actually getting some sun now too...soon I'll be all tanned up for spring...One problem is the food. I have found some restaurants that serve nice light meals so Itry to stick to them. I really don't want to gain weight while I'm down here...which I could easily do when all my food is expensed. And since theydo pay my meals, I've been buying some protein bars that I usally can't afford on my own. I've checked out a gym in town as I'm getting sick of the hotel universal. Plus there's only one and people are always on it. I have 3 free visits and plan to go there tonight. They'retrying to work out a deal since I won't be in town every week.Well that's it for now...I'll try to bring some of this warm weather back with me...

I'm so glad I'm not running at home right now. Paris is a mess...with all that wet snow that we got a week ago, then it all froze over making everything trecherous and now -30 temps with windchill! I don't miss it at all and hope it all goes away by friday when I come home. Last night I ran in a t & shorts again, though it was a little cool...not sure of the temp but felt like a typical spring night, cool enough to keep you from sweating. I'm running on my own these days. I just haven't had a chance to hook up with other runners due to work schedule. It hard to make plans. I'm thinking about joining a gym though while I'm here. they'll give me half off a yr memebership, so I'm trying to get work to pay for it. I've gone a couple of times on a free pass and I like it. It's a Gold's Gym, very family oriented, tons of equipment...It's still pretty lonely living on your own in a hotel so I try to fill my time with work, running and exercise. oo bad I missed the race. I wanted to come but since i got in late on Friday and had to turn around an go monday morning, the weekend was way too short to cram everything in as it was. Linda's feeling it alot more than she thought not having me around to talk to. And it's hardly fair for me to fly in, drop my laundry for her, and head out the door doing what I want to do. and then waste our time together packing and getting ready to head back out the door. hopefully this will not be as intense as it is right now and the travelling will slow up. I'm back home next week but have to be back down here the week after but only for a couple of days. Glad to hear everyone did so well in Grimsby. They've been having some races here over the past few weekends. Two weeks ago there was a 10 & 5k (yes km, don't ask me why when everything else is in miles...) and this coming sat. they have a 5k race. I don't see alot of runners. Lots at the gym on treadmills but not on the streets like us parisites...Anyway, missing everyone here, hope to be out sat. morning...see ya...

Hey...I wish I had known you and Kelley where running on Sunday. I ended up running sunday on my own. I'm at home this week and since I flew in late friday, I decided not to run saturday morning. The weather was great sunday. I ended up doing 30k. I plan to run thrusady night here and saturday. Back down south next week though for a couple of days.
