Highland Park, St. Paul is my neighbourhood.

I really enjoy running along the Mississippi Blvd. Always brings on memories of TCM -specially that incline after Lake St. Bridge and before Summit Ave!

Hey Hermosaboy,

I ran in the 5K on Sun, But I came back later and watched the top guns run the 8K. A couple of high school kids ran **** good.

The TC 1 Mile is a great race, the course down Nicollet is much better than the first year it was run.

See ya there

<HR>

Yeah, TC Lumbar and Tom Burke from Edina High ran VERY well. They have been putting up some serious times this winter...

jackpiner,

Did you move since October? I thought you lived in Iowa? Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong guy.

hi fiatsrcool!

I looked at your profile - you're fast! What's your goal for TCM?

We're running grandma's in June - we'll only think about doing TCM after that!

Happy running!

Thanks, Goal for now will be to get most miles under 6 min.
Training this summer will be a challenge since we just had a baby. Guess I will need to start extending the lunch breaks past an hour. So far my work has been cool about my running but I'm sure sooner or later someone will complain about it. : )

South St. Paul. What races are people doing near Cinco de Mayo? I'm running the Menudo 5k with my step-dad, the race benifits the Latino Peace Officers Assc, and step-dad is a prosecutor.

It's going to be the Melpomene 5K for me.

Hey DTraidor, come downtown MPLS the Thurs before and run the Twin Cities 1 Mile. It's a blast with alot of spectators along the course to cheer ya on.

Hey jackpiner,

I double checked...you're the guy I thought you were, just made a mistake as to where you lived. Sounds like you're doing some great mileage, good luck! We'll see ya around, if you have any questions about the HR training email me.

Hello to all! Looks like there's a lot of us running around highland park, Summit, and the River Road....Melpomene 5k is my next race. Gearing up for my 2nd TC Marathon this year and so excited! I just got my "In Training" shirt yesterday!

Last year my only goal was to cross the finish, which I did! This year, am planning on taking my training up a slight notch.

Anybody run Get in Gear last weekend? What'd you think of it? How'd you do? I ran the 10k - but not particularly well. I'm not used to this heat yet!

Re: Any Minnesota runners out there?
Hollyma- I didn't do Get in Gear, but I too, am not used to the warmer weather yet! Anything over 70, if its sunny, is "hot" to me, while running! takes a while to get used to again for the spring and summer.

KatJ- I'll be at the Grand Old Days 5k!
