Shoe tracker data gone?

Hi folks-

I'm obviously piling onto the "they killed my awesome free service" chorus.

Anyone successfully get shoe tracker data in the new activetrainer environment? I try accessing it in "tools/shoe tracker" but usually get an Apache server error page with lots of code. Once I got to a list of 2 out of 4 pairs I had tracked in CR and both were listed with 0 miles. I also see no option for adding shoes to new workouts. If this is indeed a pay option, you'd think they'd communicate that clearly and at least give you access to your old data?

Any success?

Dunno, but my hiking shoes' miles kind of "disappeared." I had a number of "Hiking" custom workout type entries in cool running that disappeared.

Also, as a computer programmer, I have difficulty appreciating tracking shoe mileage as a value-add bonus feature. I mean... Like... How hard is that math and how much code is that?

Being a programmer by background, it's not quite so simple, but...

It is a rather moronic "feature" to ask people to pay for in my professional opinion.

We understand there may be a bit of confusion about the data transfer from the Cool Running logs to Active Trainer. Even though the data is largely the same, it will look different in the two systems.

  • Workout type, distance, duration and pace will transfer directly over.

  • Any comments, Avg HR and Max HR will be inserted into the workout notes for those specific workouts.

  • You weight data will be imported into the Daily Vitals section in Active Trainer.

  • Shoe data will automatically populate into the Shoe Tracker, including all mileage information logged to date. You can view historical data in a number of formats on Active Trainer.

  • Your calendar allows you to see workouts (with varying levels of detail) in a month, week and day view.

  • Click on "Reports" in the top navigation to access your Training Log, showing side-by-side planned vs. actual data in a weekly view

  • Dig deeper by clicking on the Training Stats tab, which allows you to graph aggregated stats such as training volume.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

I found my shoe tracker. It shows only one pair of shoes that I threw away over a year ago. Well, I can track them.

It is possible that it hasn't finished uploading and it was said it may take up to 24 hours. If you are still having a problem with it tomorrow I will help you figure it out.

It's been over 48 hours since I transfers my data. I'd say the transfer lost about 50% of my log. Oh well, I get what I paid for. As least I downloaded my log and still have something.

I'll look into the shoe tracking feature and the feedback we've gotten and have some answers here shortly.
