Where to run in Charleston, SC?

I'm going to be in Charleston for a weekend service trip in a couple weeks. The customer is in North Charleston, I'll probably be stayin in that area. Any good place to run 5+ miles? I really hate to let my marathon training lapse.

Thanks!

It may not be right out your hotel door, but I would highly suggest the downtown area. On a Saturday or Sunday morning, you should find easy parking and run down by the battery and through the historic sites. You'll see lots of runners and other early risers out. Parking during the day will be harder and the city will get more crowded. You're also near several beaches...

Enjoy!

There's a rails-to-trails route in West Ashley one block east of Savannah Highway. It starts pretty much just across the bridge from the peninsula and runs for about 8 miles (if I recall correctly).
