Running in England

I am looking for runners or runners group in England, around the Cambridge or Newmarket area. Or people who would like to meet in different areas for week long runs.

Re: Running in England
There are a few UK runners around, in the CH there is myself, Liss, Blueberry Sky and TrueScotsman.

I know there are someothers around the site but we are scattered through the country.

We were also scheming a meet at some point.

Re: Running in England
I'm sure England has their share of ultrarunners, just not too many who want to do week long runs, as that is not a common race distance - the closest standard ultra would be 6 day races.

Count me in on the UK meet-up! (Please...)

And maybe even for a run... Griff123, I'm nowhere near marathon distances, but if I can keep up with the rest of you, a group run would be fun.

Re: Running in England
Robert, I am injured at the moment from my last marathon. I have no immediate plans for anything longer than a half. I expect my next would be the Loch Ness though.
Keep us posted!
I don't monitor this forum a lot, I am mainly in the CH, give me a shout if I can give you a hand.
Also what is Griff short for?

9ultras my cousins have done the West Highland Way several years now, 95 miles from Glasgow to Fort William Thats the only ultra contact I have.
My last marathon went badly so I have no interest in an ultra at the moment. Plus I think I am far too young for that distance at the moment.
