Nice run as I had the privilege of KJ's company today. KJ, following our parting, that's when the run became demanding. Shades of the Nike 1/2 returned as the downpour continued. So chilly. Regardless, it was a wonderful run and nothing but good things came from it. Looking forward to running with you next time.

It feels wonderful just to run for fun without an event in mind. Speaking of which, I decided to participate in the Standard Life 10km this Saturday. Should be interesting to see what comes of it as I have been focusing on longer distances. Regardless, the event is mainly for the cause.

Roly taper well and know that my thoughts are with you come race day. I have no doubt in my mind that if you approach this race with the same focus and diligence as you did your training program that you'll be just fine.

Congrats for your race DF. I was thinking of you while running the mountain yesterday afternoon. It was so peaceful. And I saw only one and only bicycle!!!! Incredible.

Great to see that bad weather is behind us. When you check the radar screen of Environment Canada before deciding when to go running, you got a problem.

Roly, don't worry. How can they predict a 18C minimum for Sunday so early? There are more chances that you'll start at a confortable 10C.

Hello Everyone! I finally got out and ran again. I am not too far from being back in shape. I hope this weather holds up, and I can run more often!

Congratulations Df7 on the nice result for the race.

Truxx,

Do me a favor... send me a copy of your 1-short-run-per-month program that allows you to run a 10 K in 40:00 or less.

I really need to check it out because I KNOW I've been doing something wrong for all these years...

Ditto, I think that's a great improvement for a 5k, girlfriend! Give yourself some credit

p.s. KJ, TB: nice run ... I'm jealous ... Roly, you'll be fine in Ottawa ... I'm jealous ...

Hey Truxx. One more workout next month some time and you'll be THERE! Keep up the great work. Hey Mars, some of us have to work to get there. You know what they say,"it's not the victory but the struggle to get there." Boy did I ever struggle tonight.

Hey Sally. Where you been hiding? What's up?

Roly. Know that we have to pick up our numbers at the Expo before 4:00 pm, Saturday, unless we enlist some people from Phoenix to get them, and we can meet them later.

No no, you guys don't get it ... Truxx and I don't like the struggle part, just the victory. Nix the training! Truxx has his one-run a month regime for a sub-40 min. 10k. I've got my 3 long runs and I can run a marathon theory. Both have been proven successes!

I haven't been hiding ... just not ... training ... ahem ... trying out a new program for my Ironman, dontcha know!

Sally

Hello all,

I just wanted to let you all know that my application to the NYC marathon was not accepted. Nope, no lottery winning's for me. Maybe next time. On the other hand, I do have a back-up plan to "pop the 42.2K cherry" as Grommit would put it.

Vivaaaaa Laas Vegasssss!!
Dec. 10th.
Anyone care to join me?

Sorry to hear that you won't be with me in NYC ... sniff, sniff ... TB either ... what about you, Mercury?

No Vegas for me this year, though it would be fun to go down to see Mars who will for sure run it now that you'll be running it, JB. Yes, who else will join him? You just have to get a CR Mtl gang together there!

Who's in for DA HILLS this Thurs? I'm there in all my slow splendour Thanks for slowing down for me this morn, KJ!

Sloth Sally
