SAUNA. Works like a charm. In TO, I had to put on the heating in my hotel room to sleep well. At the meet I barely felt the heat.

If you have a pinched nerve, they have books out that can be used to treat yourself, and they work, if that's what you have.

I stay away from Codeine as last time I took it by the third day I was nauseous, bloated, and I felt like I was two feet tall.

I have some nerve damage and I'm 2 feet tall. What should I do?

Sally

p.s. So hard to get myself to go out and run with swimming and cycling being easier and cooler ...

Chops: Now it's the turn of "Les Bleues".

This country is loosing his mind. Since three weeks we are already in
some kind of emergency state. But now it's becoming serious. Let's wait for Tuesday (Roly, should I send a bottle of non-homemade German wine?)

Df, danke es geht mir gut. Was machen Deine Knochen?

On my own front, things are improving, although I still can't really train. During the last two weeks I ran 2x5' about two times a week. I still get a slight reaction the next day. However, the symptoms are getting more diffuse and they stay only for about a day. As long, as it stays this way, I will be very careful with increases of the running volume. On the other hand, I have spent quite some time on my bike recently.

Enjoy your weekend

Ralf

It killed me. Worse than the other one I tried. I blogged it. Stopped short of calling it names.

I was having a really demotiviating training week this week, folks, couldn't find the balance after last's week work fury. Just received my official schedule this week (late because Dirk unfortunately has pneumonia ) and I feel better - what I did this week isn't that far off! It turned out to be my easy week! Yay!

Sally

p.s. Grommit, right now we are at 18C, humidity 77% ... ooohh, I'm sweating up a storm right now ...

Hi Ralf. Nice to hear from you. Have you ever tried pool running. I have a marathon friend who has been injured since last fall, but has maintained her cardio all that time, doing this. She is now back on her feet, and hasn't missed a beat.

Gro. Where are you exactly?

Sally. What's it like out there? Gotta go for a run at some point. Probably will do some hills. Difficult because I am in the middle of a move to Lachine. Main move is the morning of the 3rd (Monday). Could use some free hands for an hour or so. Any takers? All you can drink!!!!

Perfect weather for running this morning. JB and the others running for Canada are a lucky bunch. Too bad it's my day off. But I really enjoyed my long run at Mt-Royal yesterday, just after that big storm.

Just finished my 1st marathon training week, add a huge 3km to my base
