Modesto, CA runners?

Hello all,
I am new to this site...I would like to know if there are any runners in Modesto area...I just moved to Modesto, and just began running, 2 months ago....I am still struggling with it though....
But it will be interesting to get to know other runners, beginner or advanced.

Welcome to CoolRunning .... and to the Central Valley (I'm in Madera, down 99 south of Merced) I know that there is a running club in Modesto called the Shadow Chase Running Club -

I'm in Los Banos welcome to the world of running. Hang in there it does get easier and before you know it, it no longer be a strugle.

Hello all?.
I did find out some info about the Shadow Chasers?I have yet to attend a meeting?I also found out about Team in Training, an affiliation organization with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society?They sponsor and train you for races(or cycling, swimming)?But you have to collect funds for the society?I haven?t attended any meetings yet?

Hi Hup

Things are going well for us, my daughter just completed her first year of college and Ken and I are trying to get used to this empty nest. I don't have any local runs planed but will be doing NY again this year, YEAH!!!!

Hey Finish line and Hup....
I finally started out with the C25K plan...since I ran before, I started with week 4...yesterday was my first run...There is a 20min run next week..Dont know if I am ready for that!!
