Gro, I'm just back from my long run and as I have no car this week, I had no choice but running uphill the last 5km of my 26km run. It was tough with all that humidity but let me tell you, it's NOTHING after I read what your are running into this weekend.

You and those 600+ runners are INSANE (I said the same thing about SS yesterday).

But anyway, all the best for that race et surtout have fun!!!

I thought you were just asking where it was. Thanks for the hug ... just need lots of reassurance ... feeling overwhelmed by the race and all ...

One meter at a time... just like in training. You can do it! You're used to "first-time's" like this. First time you ran 20k, first time you ran 30 k, first time you ran 42km, First time you swam 200m, 400m, etc etc you get the picture. This is just another one and we know you can handle it! If anyone is used to the "first time" feeling it's you. So go out there and do it. Your perseverence will get your through it!

More hugs

DR

More hugs from here, albeit funky smelly ones just came in from a trot around the neighbourhood. Didn't know you were doing this Sally, good luck, you've trained for this and are capble of it..have a blast.

Good luck to all racers this weekend, df
