Hartford, CT Area Running Group/Routes???

I will be relocating from Detroit to the greater Hartford area. Does anyone have any suggestions on routes, running groups, etc???

I just noticed your thread. I often checked out the forum only to NOT see anything about Hartford.

I have just recently joined the Hartford Track club. I probably linked to them via USATF website or maybe from a google search.

I have lived in Simsbury (12 miles north west of city proper) and typically ran roads in my neighborhood.

There are trails around local reservoirs that many, including Hartford track club, run around... sometimes in organized "come if you want we start at XX:XX" type events.

Thanks henrydavidhall for your response to my inquiry. I will l
try looking up the Hartford Track Club. In Michigan I went on group runs out of one of the Hanson's Running Shops. So basically that is is kind of thing I was looking for. Thanks again.

I run the ones in Vernon quite often. It's nice and quiet and I never get bored with the scenery. I can't vouch for it during the winter as I've only discovered these trails this past summer.
