I'm Home, I survived.

I will post some pictures in the yahoo site later today, and will write a race/weekend report later as well. Right now I have a small flight of stairs to contend with.

I cannot thank Mars and Mrs.Mars enough for the gynormous (sp?) amount of hospitality and generosity shown to us over this past weekend. Everything from shuttling us to & from the airport, to acting as our very own personal tour guide through the red rock canyon. Mars & mrs. Mars... You guys are awesome.

more to come later.

Welcome back JB and courage with the stairs.

What a wonderful 1st time experience you seemed to have had!

PS: finished work early today and just went for a little stroll on sunny Mont-Royal... my idea of a perfect week day!

JoeBoxer: What an experience that must have been! 1st marathon, 1st time in Vegas, and a tour of some of the natural beauty that so many tourists miss out on. Congratulations again! I am glad you made it home safe and sound.

I made it out running again, and it was a great day for it.. Shorts and t-shirt, (over the long underwear)..haha. I was pushing the running stroller, and I think I kept my time close to the same pace.. It is a liitle slower but it was fun. I was suprised there was any ice at all, but parts of the trail are really out of the sunlight.

Well I hope everyone enjoyed these last few days!

Began a comeback of sorts tonight with 30 minutes on the TM at the Y. Relatively pedestrian 7.5mph for thirty minutes. Quite uncomfortable but not painful - unlike the drive home. Maybe try again tomorrow with Phoenix at the Jetty. Any takers?

Has it been six weeks already, how time does fly.

tsk, tsk, tsk I'll let the others give you there " you should be resting speech" I don't listen to good advise either.

Mercury1.. I would love to go to the Jetty tonight! Unfortunately, I think I might be watching the kids right as you are getting started.. I will see if we can arrange something. Have fun anyways, and I hope the pain starts going away.. Good work on living in dog years.. 5 days=4 weeks!
