Truxx, cool your running, now we still have to schedule a run at Bromont.

Hey LC I still O U a beer or three for saving my life last year. But can't make it to Hurleys next week.

Man the 13 KM on the road today is far more painful than 3.5 hours on the trails. My shins, back and legs are killing me.

Gro. Have you been to the Pittsfield site recently. And why am I sure there will be lots of beer at the after race feast.

BTW the total elevation change is 24,000 ft 12,000 up and 12,000 down.

Ultra Division
The last 9 miles will be a surprise.

Death Division
The mileage will be much less but there
is a liklihood of death.

I think the hights of the mountains has increased looks like a bit more than 12,000 ft

Pittsfield Peaks Elevations
Wilcox - 2840 feet
Carmel - 3365 feet
Hedgehog Knoll - 2025 feet
Darning Needle - 2885 feet
South Mt - 2065 feet
Joe's Hill - 1820 feet

Happy Friday everyone !

Was on the hill yesterday evening - muddy but clear, almost all the snow is gone. Lots of walkers, dogs and of course cyclists

Weather seems to be getting better, fingers crossed, and the weekend so far looking good - enjoy.

Congrats on the PB Ninj. Enjoy the b day celebrations Gro.

What hill are you talking about? In Illinois? The only thing around me is a small mound on the lakepath at Montrose.

Sally. Put me down for Tuesday at Hurleys.

Roly. You might want to take along a parachute to Pittsfield! Tough elevations!

Truxx. You have proved it once again. Lots of rest = fast times. That's my philosophy too. Sounds like you need more rst. Take the next two weeks off!

Anyone want a drive to Vermont Sunday for a 6 mile race? I'm going.

Was it your birthday Gro? Did I miss it? I'll tip an Alexander Keith tonight in your honor. I'll be in St. Lin, returning Saturday. When I move from Lachine on July 1st (or sooner), can I hope to get one or two of the CR,s to help me move? All you can drink and you get to visit home!

Well, I hope they have their own category, otherwise, it's totally unfair.

This is gonna be one heck of a Hurley's, almost the whole gang ... Df, Grommit, DR, Acidosis? You new people (sorry, can't remember your CR names)? Lurkers?

Gag, is that for real????? Haha wonder if it is on youtube...

No Hurleys for me, tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays are my run-then-swim days... won't make it for 7pm. Have to be up for 6:30am practice the next day(s).

Stupid question, when is Boston? And who here is running besides Merc, Mikey and Speedyfeet? Grommit? Gag?

Merc: Sub 3? How are the feet these days? Are all the snow/ice-related injuries taken care of?

PS: I got a tri bike!!!!! (it's tiny, but I'm embarassingly short so I can't help it)

runningag, I may be running the mountain tomorrow morning just waiting for confirmation from easygo.

Gro Old man happy b-day, ready to run tomorrow morning.

Got in 3 hours and 40 minutes on the mountain today. 6 1/2 loops on the trails on top and a bunch of other trails going up and down legs felt good today.

Any one else run today.

Gag....You are very welcome to join us in Vermont. Leaving at the Vendome Metro at 9:15 if you want to come along, feel free to join us. We are in a Blue Saturn.

Sally. See ya Tuesday!

DR. 3 Hours? I don't think I'm ready, in spite of my TM Half-marathon in
1:30. To add another half to that?????? Hamstring and neuroma won't go away. Chronic discomfort / pain so doutful, but I will hopefully get to the half in about 1:28 and see what's left.

Congrats on the bike!
