Hey, folks! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and got some Turkey Day miles in one way or another!
After the Old Reliable Run, they were handing out flyers about some 10k that was being promoted for Raleigh next April, but with a limited-size field. I thought I memorized the URL that was on the flyer to find out more about it and see if they had identified a course, but the URL I memorized doesn't mention anything about it or have it on their '08 schedule. Anybody else see the flyer or remember what it was promoting? Curiosity has the best of me.
I probably won't get to do the Jingle Bell 5k because of our Christmas musical at church, but I plan to do either the Reindeer Romp 5k or the Rocky Mount half depending on how cold it is on the 8th. Hope to see y'all at a race before the end of the year!
Thanks,
Brad

Is this the Brad that goes to Good Hope?
If so, it is fancy seeing you here! By reading, it looks like you have had a good year since running the Outer Banks in '06. That is great. I haven't been running as much as I would have liked, but I did win one 4 mile race here (thanks to a lack of competition).
I have signed up for the Umstead Marathon in March and can't wait, mainly because that means I am home. I will only have a week or so at home before the race so I hope to get out there for a little course familiarization. The running is going good here, but not a lot for hills.
rlemert, Joey, Chris and mythreeduaghters: Thanks for the Umstead course help! Hope to meet many of you in the future!
Brad, we share the same fav Bible verse, too! I have a great story about that! Will have to tell you some time.
