Paradise Island, Bahamas

Anyone have any suggestions on running here? I'll be there for a week and need to do 1 longer run (10 miles) and a few 6-7 mile runs. I'm sure the fitness facility at the hotel has a treadmill as a last resort but I would rather be outside. I'm staying at the Atlantis. Thanks

Have fun! I love Atlantis. Been there once and headingback there in May.

May 2006 they were renovating the island. Your distance will be hard to achieve anyplace other than a treadmill. I think the island onlu measures a few miles and sections are totally private and roped off. The main land (Nassau??) has heavy traffic. Not sure if you are male or female but as a female I would not feel safe running there alone.

Atlantis is incredible, the beaches beautiful! Try Nobu and also try to forget your diet a bit.....the rum drinks they peddle on the beach are to die for.
