St. Louis Marathon Runners

Anyone on here from St. Louis training for St. Louis Marathon on April 15th? It will be my first. Would be interested in talking with others who are going through the same training.

I live in Washington, Missouri, and I'm training for the St. Louis Marathon this April. It will also be my first one! I just did the Frostbite HM yesterday in Forest Park (35 degrees with 10 - 15 mph winds).

I did a 12+ mile training run in Forest Park on Saturday as well. I would say we probably passed each other but I didn't start til around 3:00 and I think those Frostbite series races start early in the morning. I agree, the wind was bad at times. It always seemed to be against me or across me and never behind me.

Did you do that run through the St. Louis Track Club? If so, how did that go? I've been looking for something like that as I get into my longer runs.

I only participated in the marathon relay last year so I don't have a lot of experience to draw from. And as this will be my first marathon I can't really compare it to anything. Should be fun.
