This is so funny, I've just read the article and I was going to paste the same excerpt.

I completely agree with DR on that. Running 30km for an elite doesn't take as much time as for John and Jane Doe.

Even 75 miles per week is a lot of mileage. I never ran more than 90 km per week during marathon training. Sure, the extra mileage help me, my recent race results prove it. But I think that if I run more than 100 km per week, I'll get tired, bored and prone to injuries.

For me, 75 to 90 km per week means 6 days running at least 11 km per day. I don't complain, I love running, but not too much running.

Beautiful sunset but will it ever warm up ?? Slow, short waddle to blow away the day of packing, errands, moving details?urgh, don?t want to do this too often.

Training at the MAA tomorrow... Hard to find a pool open, free and empty during the long weekend! Anyone racing this weekend? Where?

Just wondering... JB, SS, anyone else... do you know where in mtl we can enter cycling races for the general population (ie: Jane Doe like me)? And how does that work afterwards, I mean the traffic at the food table must be horrible... do they just sorta get outta there right after or do they get off their bikes and stroll around?

Thanks for caring KZ. But it's just not the same being abused by someone else.

Feeling a little better tonight but there is still a lot of congestion in my lungs. Sunday may sill be possible 2 loops max. I'll post tomorrow night. 7 am start if I am ready.

3 weeks to go for my first attempt at a 50 miler and I am feeling very nervous, but I've told myself from the start when I decided to just do it (Nike Commercial) that whatever happens I've at least taking the courage to finally go after one of my dreams.

KZ I may give it a go tomorrow feeling a bit better today. I am going to give sleeping in a try tomorrow and run later on in the day. Maybe around 1:00 pm.
