.....you don't want to do too much of this steep downhill stuff at the beginning.... it will destroy your quads.... grippy trail shoes with a big toebox are a good idea.... they will save your tootsie smashing into the front of your shoes..... a few hours of this downhill stuff in your regular sneakers and you can kiss goodbye to your toenails...... talking of shoes it is exactly this type of stuff that destroyed my Golites[/URL" target="_blank"> ...... the most comfy shooz I've ever run in.... lasted exactly 3 weeks!
