Hello everyone,
Am I going to be the only one at the bar.. haha.
So instead of beer on Tuesday night I will be there at the Ville-Marie between 6:45 and 7:00.. And then... You know the drill! Hills.. Hills and more Hills.. and after that, before we finish.. Another hill. I hope to see everyone, .. or rather anyone. haha

Mr. Lambchops says:Hills. I'm in.

I can't wait.
Truxx

I will still check to see if anyone is going to Hurley's.. otherwise I guess next time.

Anyone else interested in Hurley's tomorrow? If it's just me and Truxx, let's move it to next Tuesday at 7:30 ... would that be better? Hey, don't let Truxx and me down

Hamburger steak, hamburger steak ... DR? DR?

Waiting for the doctor's okay to train, will find out this Wed. I think I will go ahead even if she says no ... can't stand this feeling ...

Hills this Thurs are a no go for me ... not in shape ... next week, probably not either (give me a week to run at least before I try to run with Chops, Truxx and whomever else ...)

JB? JB? JB? Where did you go? How is the cycling? I haven't climbed the mountain once this summer

Sally

..... woohoo, didn't get lost this morning! Into the park at Kensington Palace Gate, past the Albert Memorial, past Speaker's Corner (Marble Arch)..... along the horse path next to Bayswater Rd, turned round at what I think is Victoria Gate and back to the flat. Worthy of note: People own horses in the middle of London, so there's a really nice soft path all around Hyde Park. People seem to run to work.... almost more runners with back packs than without..... air quality is better than downtown Montreal! Streets are cleaner too!
anyway 58:05 at a brisk pace prolly somewhere between 7 & 8 miles.... all is well

Wish I was with you Gro. Want very much to visit jolly old England. How 'bout bringing me back a map! I want to run the marathon there! Have fun 'ol bud.

Tryed out the eliptical yesterday doing 45 hard minutes @ 160-165 mhr, only level 4. Legs were very wobbly afterwards. First workout in two weeks.....felt like it.

Sorry Sally. Early morning physio (10:00am) then back to St. Lin to pack etc. Next Tuesday maybe.

The ole slowpoke won't be part of the hills this week, give me a chance to do some catching up before watching the heads of Truxx and Chops zoom out of sight

Knee - I bought an old place that needed renos..not a space that wasn't touched. Plaster walls, blah blah blah...so unpacking slowly as certain areas are fixed...hopefully there will be some semblance of order -- just in time for when school starts C'est la vie.

Back to running...intervals on t/m yesterday after work, interesting...serious sweatfest and wasn't running fast, this is what happens when you don't keep up the training and grow a budha belly and bigger but ... Fizzio early this morning for an achey shoulder so nothing on the program today.

Work beckons - ta ta 'fly

Thanks for the info Hugh, but I cannot read the results on my Mac. I dunno what format they use on their website but it comes out martian-like on my screen. Can somebody out there, who doesn't use a mac, send me an e-mail with the results?

In the mean time, how did you do Hugh? It's been a while since I beat Ed Whitlock, but it was on the track in the 1500m at Seaway Park in St. Lambert circa 1969. Ran 4:05 with Ed hot on my tail, and the man was 15 years older. He had white hair even then!

Good luck with the house Df. I wish I had a house to fix. In moving limbo in the move to Cornwall. Still waiting for the deal on my hose in St. Lin to finalize. Taking forever.Grrrrr. Work about to start.....very awkward, to say the least.

Did the spinner at the Y for an hour yesterday. Feel like my hamsring is gonna fall off. Is there any end to these injuries. Even cross-training hurts? Give me a break........Off to Cornwall to line up a destination. Hope Truxxy doesn't expect Chops to stay with him........have fun boys. Wish I could do it too.
