Just came back from a weekend getaway to Toronto. Too much burp food and watched the, "We Will Rock You" musical downtown. Really nice to get away...

DR: I'll be running the 10km at the festival de la santé. Downtown is pretty much back to normal. I only learned of the incident when I arrived home yesterday night

MLC: Sounds like fun. Count me in

SS: I'd agree with RG. Scotia waterfront.

Speaking of the Waterfront, there is a chance (5-10%) that I may head down to accompany a friend who's running the full.. I'd run the second half of the race with him. Okay, you caught me, that's just a cover for more food!

Chops:

Last night, our oxygen-depraved brains produced a couple of ideas:
- Organize a race on Holmstead
- Establish clear running routes in Mtl where we could try to set PBs
- Run naked to the sound of CCR
What do you think ? What do you think ?

Okay, now you?re ready to run around with no cloths on ?what the devil were you up to in Toronto for heaven?s sake ?? Or is this Any?s influence ? I do like CCR but keeping my cloths on?gawd almighty, Born on the Bayou, Run through the Jungle, my personal favorite, Midnight Special while letting it all hang/flap out?I don?t think so?though it gives new meaning to Bad Moon Rising?okay, bad, bad, couldn?t resist.

Hey there red dragon, the ole dragon is off work as of this evening until after Labour Day. Remainder of the week devoted to house, school etc. Still no pc connection at home, most of you have my number if you need to reach me. As for swimming at the MAA that weekend, so far no. She seems interested in getting started at school, first year of high school, makes me feel even older.

Been running three times a week with less problems, good thing. Put in a 10k training run last weekend with a galpal?strong athlete type, thought I would be toast, but nope, not that bad ?guess there is some fitness left in the ole bod after all.

Enjoy the great weather everyone, and the long weekend. ?fly

Had a wonderful run at dusk tonight. Gro / Roly (when not injured), would love. Went up to the Wilson Falls area of St. Jerome / Lafontaine and ran the trail alongside the North River. A real x-country run where you really have to keep your eyes on where you put your feet. 30 minutes out & 30 minutes back as the sun was setting. The moon was a spectacular, huge orange ball in the south-east horizon and while it was humid, it was cool. Tomorrow will be brutal, apparently! Be careful out there.
