Central Jersey running paths

It seems that I'll be moving from South to Central/North Jersey some time in the next year or so. It will most likely be somewhere around Monmouth, Passaic, or Middlesex county. One thing that I really do not like about my current area, Cherry Hill, is the lack of parks with running paths. I do not like to travel so I'd prefer to move somewhere super close to a park. We haven't begun looking for a house to buy yet, so I was wondering if you guys could make any suggestions as to cities/areas with great running paths that are safe for a solo female, and not horribly crowded.

Thanks!

In Holmdel Park we have great running trails. It's busy enough to feel safe, but never crowded. Women run there all the time.
