The Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation Department will host the 26th Annual "Turkey Trot Road Race" on November 17, 2007.

RACES:
- One Mile "Fun Run"
- Three Mile Run
- 10k

DETAILS:
All races wills start at 10:00 am inside Hornbeam Park. On the three mile and one mile races, the runners will run to a turnaround point on the course and run back to Hornbeam Park. The routes will be well marked through residential areas of Rocky Mount. Fluids will be available on the course. Male and female winners will be awarded in all races as well as age group awards. All runners will receive a race shirt. This event is a family friendly race that everyone will enjoy. Come join the fun in Rocky Mount!

LOCATION:
Race starts and finishes in Hornbeam Park, located on 105 Cunningham Drive, Rocky Mount NC.

I did this race last year. It is a no frills event, but lots of fun for the family. Your odds of leaving with a trophy are very good. You can easily register on race day. I am trying to git the City of Rocky Mount to put the entry form online to you can at least print a copy and mail it in. If so, I will post a link.
