advice for sick runner

I qualified to run Boston last year and and am now training to run the Boston Marathon this April (my first time). My training is not going well because I keep getting sick and have to take 3-4 days off to recover. (flu, cold) I felt great on all my runs last week and now have a bad cough and cold again causing me to take more time off.

I've been able to mostly keep up with my long runs on the weekends but have had to cut back on volume and intensity during the week. I hope to still run the race and realize I'll have to take it easy but I also don't want to wear myself down. I'm worried because I know that it's a difficult course. Any advice from anyone whose experienced this would be helpful.
