Blisters

About 3 weeks ago I developed a blister on the bottom of my big toe. I think it was from my sock seam rubbing and my toes getting pinched. I was able to cover the blister and not have any problems. But now I've developed another blister on the inside of my second toe near the first blister, which developed while running a 1/2 marathon. I'm not sure what's going on. I've been running for over a year and without any toe problems...well besides nice black toenails. My current shoes have about 70 miles on them so I don't think that is the cause. Could be though...the new Asics 2120 seem to have a narrower toe box than previous models. Any suggestions on curing these blisters and preventing them in the future?

Thanks...keep running.

Re: Blisters
If you think your toes are rubbing together, put some kind of lube between them. My favorite is sportshield roll on. Is it possible that your feet got wet? This time of year, I find it hard to avoid puddles. This can cause blisters.
