shin pain...

I had a fairly big week last week... total of 31 miles.
Saturday i did 9.3miles at slow pace and then sunday i did 3 miles resonably fast... but i now have a sore right shin.
I have switched my rest day to today... but am down for a 34 miles week this week (training for 1/2)...
Anyone got any suggestions for how to keep the shin pain at bay... stretches i could do etc?
