Groin / Pelvic pain
I've completed the C25K program and continued on with the OHR program with only minor problems so far...calf pain etc. Stretching my calves before running cured this but starting in WK5 of OHR, I've developed pain in my groin / pelvic area that does not respond to stretching and feels more like it is in the joint rather than the muscle area. During my runs I am somewhat stiff in this area and it subsides after about 4 minutes of running but the next morning I am sore in the joint. I've switched to doing my run times on the eliptical at the gym to suspecting the pounding during my runs on the cement streets was causing this. I have no pain in this area during or after my runs on the eliptical so maybe that is what is causing it. I will do this until all of the pain goes away and try running on the street again and see what happens. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to resolve it.
