Hip pain
I've been running on and off for the past few years, and have been training for a 10-mile race for the past month or so. This past Sunday I went out for about a 6 mile run (after being away for 4 days) and by the half mile to mile, my right hip was really hurting me. I would get a sharp pain around near the outside joint when I stepped down.
Any idea what I did to cause this? Could it be from doing 6 miles after taking 4 days off? (I did a 6 mile run very easily about a week ago, so I dont think I'm upping the distance too fast.) Could it be something about my form? It doesn't hurt any more, but now I'm worried about going out for another run, in case it starts to hurt again.
Thanks!
