Toes and Band-Aids

I am having this ripple effect on my toes. I had a blister on my third toe, so I put a band-aid around it. Then this band-aid cut my fourth and second toe, so I put a band-aid around them, and then my fifth toe got cut. Then I added these foam things around my toes and taped them with medical tape. That has worked pretty good, except for tonight. Now my big toe is cut!

The ones that heal damage my other toes. My right foot is a sore sight--I even have a black toe.

My questions are: what does one do with cuts on the toes when wearing a band-aid causes the ones next to it to get cut?
Do band-aids give you guys cuts? I've always thought I had sensitive skin on my feet, because it's hard for me to find a pair of sandals that don't make some part of my foot bleed. Or does everyone have this problem to some extent?

Please tell me if I'm normal!

"Please tell me if I'm normal!"

I've been asking my wife to tell me that for years.... so far, no takers. :O

Check your shoes as it sounds like the toe box is too small. I found that toe nail hygiene is also an important consideration. Don't know if it's the case in your case. My second toe nail, from the outside, would cut into my middle toe. By trimming the nail, this problem went away. Maybe the case here.

Okay, okay, you're normal.

what kind of bandaids are you using? i like the ones made of stretchy fabric since they flex with the foot/toe and stay on despite the copious sweat my feet produce.

also, you might want to try lacing your shoes differently if your toebox is running a little too snug or your foot is hitting the front of the toebox. You can find some runner specific lacing techniques here[/URL" target="_blank">. hth!
