Bad Shin Pain

Hello Fellow Runners,
While running recently (a week and a half approx.), my shins have been going partially numb. They hurt! What is this? Any advice. Today I bent my foot up and cried out in pain. I have a high pain tolerance. Happy Running.

research compartment syndrome....if your pain starts after you have run for awhile and they go numb/painful that's the only thing I can think of. I hope I am wrong

From what I have read recovery is typically 6-12 weeks after the surgery.
Don't jump to the conclusion that this is what is going on. You should make an appt. with a doctor (specifically one who treats athletes) who can correctly diagnosis your injury.
Best of luck!

What kind of shoes are you wearing and are they wore out? My shins start hurting when I need new shoes. (they don't go numb though, so probably not the same problem you're having).
