Schedualed rest day. I'd like to finish 1000 miles this year 9/22. things got hectic this summer and running has had to be re prioritized. It's looking less likely that Mom will be going home to pass a way. My brother and I want to find a home for her cat and Mom's fighting it. There's no point in uspetting her at this stage, however, her cat takes a lot of time and attention, as Mom does and they're 15 miles apart right now. Nuff whining. Thanks for being there. Especially those who post in their underware.

Sleepy tortuga - off to bed

Oatmeal recipe - cook the steel cuts for 5 minutes, turn off the burner, but keep the lid on - check again later. They will be cooked and the pot easier to clean

Hi Boomers! Things are calm again on the eastern edge of the Idaho batholyth...the vacationers have gone home and after the rainfall it was clear and pristine for this evenings run. Four miles PTA hill.

Hey all, picked up my new road bike this evening. It's a Cannondale Six13 WSD Carbon . I am off to Cape Cod tomorrow till Monday on a bike club trip. Will try to check in daily since I will have to log Geocaches, if anyone is going to be in the Falmouth area send me an email

Yay, another boomer goddess on wheels! Have fun on the ride, hally!

I'm near my limit with my clunky mt. bike wheels used for xc practices... today's practice at a different park w/ rugged trail and stairs didn't quite cut it. I'm not a 19-year-old male and never learned stump jumping.

Kids really enjoyed their first day of school (how much longer will I be able to say that?). Thanks for the nice comments. I've taken that same photo, same place, same day, every year.

Tet -- I keep forgetting to say something to you about the SJJ half. You have been hiding your "report"... and you had a terrific run!
