Good Morning Boomers!
Roy?

Skip ? 18 miles on the treadmill? Now THAT is some fortitude!
Kameele ? we fight over one bathroom at our house, too, and my kids are only 5 and 10. I?m like a drill sergeant on work mornings, calling out teeth-brushing and hair-combing deadlines.
Dg9 - your paces are getting faster and faster
Sue ? once you try those, you will be hooked for life. I think they have a 12-step program for those cookies.
I?m so tired this week. I have no idea why, I?m running only minimally. My alarm was set for 5:25 instead of 4:40 today, but I could still hardly get up get up for the alarm. Up at 5 again tomorrow, too, since we have early soccer games. Perhaps an afternoon nap tomorrow will do the trick.
No run for me today, light x-training instead: lunges, weighted squats, dead lifts, weighted duck squats, bench dips, various ab-stuff. Lunges and weighted squats in the same day means I?ll be walking like a sailor tomorrow, but this is the last lower-body weight-training until after the marathon.
The speedy Boomer woman who won 1st female OA in my recent 5K told me that she thought I looked like a good marathoner. She was stick-thin, all lean muscle and sinew, and told me that my stocky, muscular build was good for endurance running. I
think that was a compliment?
Happy Friday!
