You had a great race! And I love the pics of you taking over the guy at the end. Looking good!! Congrats on your BQ.
Way to "go, go, go" Bob. That's what I found myself saying as I looked at the pictures. Congratulations.
I don't know when I've seen a post of yours with so much emotion. It was fun to experience the race with you. Excellent race and if I could grit my way through a wall like you did, I'd be a happy runner.
If 333 had turned around and seen your face, he would have stopped in his tracks. Grrrrrr. Tell your wife her pictures are wonderful, especially the one with the hah-ba in the background. glidegal
P.S. Your scars have healed nicely.
Competitive til the end. Great job Bob, and congrats on the BQ.
Great job, Bob. Many others of us can just dream...

Hey, Bob ...great race! You BQ'd and got a course PR! ... not a bad day's work! I thoroughly enjoy your detailed RRs ... you carry us along with you during the race. The pics only add to the drama. The course sure did sound like it had a lot of hills. To me, even small ones, seem like mountains near the end of the marathon.
How did you feel about going out a little too fast? All said and done, do you think it affected your time much? Will you do anything differently for NY?
Congrats again, Bob! Good luck in NY!

Bob,
You are a running machine. This month Maine, next month...New York. Amazing. Keep it up...and congratulations.

Hi Bob,
What a greta RR - I think I held my breath and leaned into every turn up until mile 15 or 16! You did an amazing job of running, up until the mental demons crept into your head in the latter stages of the race. But to still get a course record and a BQ and to nip 333 at the finish is outstanding!
Congratulations on a fine race, and best of luck in the Big Apple. And please tell your DW that her photos are fantastic.

Congratulations, Bob, on qualifying again. Your RRs are always so informative and we love the pictures. It does seem like you bonked, yet it's hard to figure out why. Does your HR record offer any clues? Maybe you were getting dehydrated? It's in the can, anyway; now you can just run NYC for fun.
