dang! that's impressive - more than impressive! And your pics MORE than make up for the one I just saw on the daily - thank you!!
1/121 in the 40-44 AG...2:49:47 = 14/1,428 overall........Awesome- Hermosa! You are definetely da man! I have to agree with the PFD I think splits were perfect....it's the perceived negative split (effort seems harder, pace slows a tad) that makes the splits so good. Get some much deserved rest, then start racking them up again Also congrats on the PR.....
Truely spectacular race Hermosa! sub 2:50!! that's incredible and such even splits (only 2 min positive). Sounds perfect to me.
Congratulations on that fine 1st Place Masters and 14th OA!!
How can anyone who ran so fast look so spunky at the finish?
Yowza, hermosa! That second half just slight positive makes it even more impressive.
Congratulations! This a pr for you?
Wow, just wow. And I love the shorts (and hey, the top matches!)... very nicely done all around. Thanks for the pics, they speak volumes. Now when I run my next marathon, and I'm barely coming up on mile 18 or so, I'm gonna think "Gee, Hermosaboy would be done by now!" Thanks.
13 people beat you? What's up with that?
Seriously though, way to go. It sounds as though you planned it all out, and the execution couldn't have been any better. You rock, my friend!

What a season you've had! Nice time-- the overall and age group placings were especially impressivie. The 40-44 group is usually one of the toughest.
Congratulations on a fine race and season.
What can I say?
Absolutely perfect execution of a marathon!!
You saved energy during the first half, challenged yourself on the second half, and cruised in for that Master's title!
I think you could have gone even faster if you'd reel the tongue in before the finish !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/wink.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/wink.gif|border=0!
Now that you're "elite" status, I hope you won't forget about us mere mortals.....
